Barcelona have completed the signing of German international Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund on a contract that will keep him at the club until 2031.
Although the financial details were not officially disclosed, reports indicate the deal is worth 22 million euros, with additional performance related bonuses and a sell on clause.
Adeyemi joined Borussia Dortmund from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg in 2022 and made 146 appearances for the Bundesliga club, scoring 36 goals across all competitions.
The 24 year old winger reunites with Barcelona manager Hansi Flick, who handed him his senior debut for the German national team during his time as Germany coach.
Adeyemi becomes Barcelona’s second attacking signing of the transfer window following the arrival of England winger Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United.
