The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with a case of alleged culpable homicide and armed robbery in Gwaram town, Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state.
The Command disclosed this in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Nafiu Anir.
According to the statement, one of the suspects was apprehended while in possession of a motorcycle belonging to the deceased victim.
The police said preliminary investigations led to the arrest of two other suspects believed to be connected to the crime.
The Command noted that the arrests followed intelligence-driven investigations aimed at uncovering those responsible for the incident.
It added that the recovered motorcycle has been taken into police custody as an exhibit.
The suspects have since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
The police assured residents of the state’s commitment to combating crime and bringing perpetrators of criminal activities to justice.
The Command also urged members of the public to continue providing useful information that could assist security agencies in maintaining peace and security across the state.
