TROOPS ARREST INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA (IPOB) FOUNDING FATHER

The Defence Headquarters has confirmed the arrest of one of the founding members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr. Pius Iguh.

During a bi-weekly briefing on the operational activities of the armed forces, Major General Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations, announced the arrest. He explained that Mr. Iguh was responsible for insurgent activities in the Orsu general area of Imo State.

Major General Buba reiterated that the military remains unwavering in its fight against terrorism, emphasizing that several key figures have been captured in recent operations.

Highlighting achievements from the past two weeks, the General assured the public that the military will continue to defeat terrorist elements both on the battlefield and in their hideouts, ensuring the nation’s growth and security.
