Taiwo Awoniyi Scores as Nottingham Forest Cruise to 3-0 Victory Over Wolves

Date:

Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi was on target as Nottingham Forest secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Wolves in the Premier League on Monday night, moving level on points with Arsenal.

Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood also found the back of the net for Forest, who are now firmly in the race for a Champions League spot next season.

This 12th win of the campaign, surpassing last season’s total, was powered by two of their most influential players, highlighting that opposition teams are still struggling to find ways to stop them.

Forest remains third in the Premier League, six points behind the leaders of Liverpool, who will face them in their next league match on 14th January.

They are now behind second-placed Arsenal only on goal difference, following a sixth consecutive victory, marking their first run of six top-flight wins in a season in 58 years.
