Super Falcons’ training camp in Seville, Spain, has expanded to twenty players with the recent arrivals of forwards Uchenna Kanu and Chinwendu Ihezuo.
Nigeria Football Federation disclosed in a statement that defender Oluwatosin Demehin and forward Chinonyerem Macleans are the remaining players expected to join the squad as the nine-time African champions intensify preparations for their return to the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament.
Demehin and Macleans are scheduled to arrive at the team’s camp on Friday afternoon.
With a full camp expected by Friday, Coach Randy Waldrum and his assistants will have five days to work with the entire squad and alternates ahead of a crucial training match against reigning Olympic champions Canada on Wednesday.
The Super Falcons are set to depart for France on Thursday, 18th July, exactly a week before their tournament opener against formidable opponents Brazil.
