States Receive Federal Government’s Logistics to Combat Cholera Outbreak

At least 107 Local Government Areas and 31 States where Cholera cases are reported have received human capital and logistics from the federal government.

Director of Public Health at the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Dr Chukwuma Anyaike, on Tuesday in Abuja, said the federal government was also creating awareness about the disease.

The current outbreak of Cholera has spread to 107 local government areas in the country with 1,528 suspected cases and 53 deaths recorded from 31 states.
