Spain have clinched their fourth European Championship title in a historic victory over England, prevailing two-one in a dramatic final held on Sunday in Berlin.

England responded midway through the second half with an impressive left-footed strike from Cole Palmer outside the penalty area, leveling the score in the German capital.

As the final minutes ticked away, Spain seized victory with a late goal from Mikel Oyarzabal, who tapped in to secure the victory with under five minutes remaining in regulation time.

This victory marks Spain’s fourth European Championship triumph, adding to their previous titles in 1964, 2008, and 2012.

Meanwhile, it is another heartbreaking loss for England in a European Championship final, having also been defeated by Italy on penalties in Euro 2020.
