SOUTH AFRICA RELAXES VISA RULES FOR NIGERIAN TOURISTS, BUSINESS PEOPLE

President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced a simplified visa process for Nigerian tourists and businesspeople, including the introduction of five-year multiple-entry visas. Speaking at the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission in Cape Town, Ramaphosa outlined measures aimed at fostering stronger economic and cultural ties between the two nations.

The South African President highlighted his government’s commitment to creating a favorable environment for Nigerian investors and businesses.

He also acknowledged Nigeria’s efforts to improve its business climate, emphasizing mutual benefits in expanding bilateral trade and investment opportunities.

President Ramaphosa reiterated South Africa’s dedication to advancing Africa’s development agenda during its G20 presidency, pledging to place the continent’s priorities at the forefront of global discussions.
