At least seven children have been confirmed dead and 26 others injured following the collapse of a roof and parts of the wall at a government-run school in Rajasthan, western India.
The tragic incident occurred on Friday, prompting a swift emergency response. According to senior police officer Nand Kishore, “Seven children have lost their lives so far and 26 others are injured.”
Rescue operations were still ongoing as authorities worked to clear debris and search for any students who might be trapped.
