SENATE TO RESUME OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY PROBE WITH HOUSE COOPERATION

The Senate announced plans to resume its probe into alleged economic sabotage in the oil and gas sector, now in coordination with a similar House committee.

Senate Leader and Committee Chairman Michael Bamidele presented a motion on Thursday, citing the necessity for a unified investigation by both chambers of the National Assembly.

The joint committee will examine critical issues impacting Nigeria’s petroleum industry to address any allegations of sabotage.
