President Bola Tinubu has expressed his deep condolences to the people of Jigawa State following the devastating floods that claimed over 16 lives and displaced more than 3,000 residents across 14 local government areas.
In a statement released on Wednesday by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, the President assured the Jigawa State government and affected families of his administration’s support during this challenging time.
President Tinubu emphasized the urgent need to address recurring environmental disasters, highlighting the importance of sustained efforts to combat climate change and mitigate its impact.
He also extended his prayers for the victims and the repose of the deceased, reaffirming the federal government‘s commitment to assisting Jigawa State in its recovery efforts.
