President Bola Tinubu Swears In Newly Appointed Permanent Secretaries

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu presided over the swearing-in ceremony of eight newly appointed Permanent Secretaries at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The event served as a precursor to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries were chosen to fill existing and impending vacancies in various States and Geo-Political Zones within the top Administrative Cadre of the Federal Civil Service.

Among the Appointees is Dr. Emanso Umobong from Akwa Ibom State, who holds the title of Fellow of the Medical College of Pathology (FMCPATH).

Dr. Emeka Vitalis Obi, another newly sworn-in Permanent Secretary, hails from Anambra State. A medical doctor by profession. Dr Obi is a proud member of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru.

Others are Fatima Mahmood Sugra Tabi’a of Bauchi State, Danjuma Mohammed Sanusi of Jigawa State, Olusanya Olubunmi-Ondo, Dr Keshinro Maryam Ismaila of Zamfara State, Akujobi Chinyere Ijeoma (South-East) and Isokpunwu Christopher Osaruwanmwen (South-South).

In addition to the swearing-in ceremony, the Cabinet members took the opportunity to congratulate President Tinubu on his re-election as the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
