PANDEF Mourns Akwa Ibom First Lady, Describes Her Demise as a Great Loss

The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the wife of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno, describing her death as a significant loss to Akwa Ibom State and the entire Niger Delta region.

The group conveyed their condolences during a visit to Governor Umo Eno and his family at their country home in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area.

Speaking on behalf of PANDEF, the National Chairman, Hon. Godknows Igali, described the late First Lady as a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to serving Akwa Ibom State, the Niger Delta, and Nigeria at large.

He also delivered a condolence message from the National Leader of PANDEF, Chief Edwin Clark, assuring the Governor of the group’s unwavering support during this difficult time.

Similarly, the Chairman of PANDEF’s Board of Trustees, Obong Victor Attah, acknowledged the deep pain of losing a loved one and prayed for God’s strength to guide and sustain the Governor and his family.

In his response, Governor Umo Eno expressed gratitude to PANDEF for their visit and commended the organization for its commitment to the development of the Niger Delta.

“This visit underscores the love that this group has for all of us in the Niger Delta, and it will further strengthen us for higher service to our people, knowing that our leaders are behind us,” he said.

The Governor pledged to continue serving as a good ambassador for the people of Akwa Ibom and the Niger Delta region, trusting in God for the strength to fulfill his duties.
