ONLY TWO PLAYERS ARRIVE IN UYO AS FLIGHT ISSUES DELAY SUPER EAGLES

Date:

Only two players were able to report to the Super Eagles camp in Uyo on Monday ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers due to flight issues.

Goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali and Amas Obasogie were the only players who arrived on schedule.

Reports indicate that Wilfred Ndidi and Benjamin Tanimu spent the night in Lagos after their flight was canceled.

The flight, originally scheduled to depart at 3 PM, faced multiple delays before ultimately being canceled.

Assistant coach Daniel Ogunmodede was also affected by the flight cancellation. The trio is expected to arrive in Uyo on Tuesday morning.
