Nigeria’s representatives at the ongoing Basketball Africa League in Senegal, Rivers Hoopers, have achieved a significant feat in the competition, securing an 86-82 points victory against APR of Rwanda.
The victory marks the first time a Nigerian team has won consecutive games at the Basketball Africa League.
Following their triumph over the home team, as Douanes in the Sahara Conference opener, Rivers Hoopers displayed exceptional quality, composure, and game management to overcome a resilient APR team.
Meanwhile, Rivers Hoopers will square off against former champions US Monastir of Tunisia on Tuesday evening in their third game.
