This victory marked a sweet revenge for the Nigerian team, who had previously lost 60-72 points to Egypt during the group stage.
This is the first time in 14 years that the Nigerian team has reached the semifinals of the tournament.
Abigail Isaac was named the Most Valuable Player of the game, delivering a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, along with two assists.
Nigeria will face Uganda in the semifinals on Friday, following the East Africans’ 69-53 victory over Tunisia.
