National Assembly Pledges Full Support for Mambila Hydro Completion

President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has assured of the National Assembly’s unwavering support for the successful completion of the Mambila Hydro Power Project in Taraba state.

He gave the assurance during a Courtesy Visit by Representatives of China Energy Engineering Corporation, the contractor overseeing the project.

Senator Akpabio underscored President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s steadfast commitment to ensuring adherence to the project’s terms of agreement.

Minister of State for Solid Minerals, Alhaji Ubah Maigari, highlighted the major achievements attained so far in the project execution.

Earlier the General Manager of Africa Marketing for the Construction Company, Mr. Huang Lin, noted that the Mambila Hydro Project, upon completion, is expected to generate over three thousand megawatts of electricity.
