Speaking at the Youth Town Hall on the 2025 Budget, organized by the House of Representatives in Abuja, NANS National President, Lucky Emonefe, called for increased funding for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). He emphasized that adequate investment in education would empower youth with skills and knowledge critical to economic growth and innovation.
Emonefe also advocated for increased funding for the Ministry of Youth Development to address youth-related challenges and enhance productivity.

In his remarks, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, highlighted the importance of youth-centered budgeting, including investments in technology hubs, skills training, and mental health services.
