NAF AIRSTRIKES DESTROY BANDIT KINGPIN’S BASE IN NIGER STATE

Date:

Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has neutralized the residence and arms depot of Mallam Saleh, a notorious bandit leader, in the Palele area of Shiroro Local Government, Niger State.

According to Air Commodore Olusola Akinboyewa, Director of Public Relations and Information, the airstrikes conducted on November 16 under Operation FANSAN YAMMA eliminated several terrorists and severely disrupted their operations.

Mallam Saleh, a known ally of the infamous Dogo Gide, has been implicated in numerous attacks and kidnappings across the region. Intelligence-guided strikes targeted his weapons cache, triggering secondary explosions that confirmed the destruction of critical logistics assets.

NAF reiterated its commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and ensuring the safety of communities across Niger State and the country at large.
