Minister Designate, Simon Lalong Visits APC National Chairman

Minister Designate and Former Governor of Plateau State Simon Bako Lalong has visited the National Chairman of the APC Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to congratulate him and extend solidarity and support for a successful tenure. 

Lalong who was at the APC National Secretariat said his visit was to once again express his good wishes and support to Dr. Ganduje whom he described as a long-term friend and colleague with whom he worked closely when they were Governors.

He said Ganduje has the experience, capacity, and versatility to lead the largest party in Africa, the APC. 

Having served in various capacities within the civil service, appointive and elective positions, the new APC Chairman according to him is well placed to bring together members of the party and reposition it to victory in future elections as well as guide it to deliver on its manifesto to the people. 

Responding, APC National Chairman Dr. Umar Ganduje said he appreciated the visit by Governor Lalong, a friend who has played a significant role in the success of the party not only in the last elections, but even during its formation and at various times. 

He assured the Minister Designate that he will continue to work closely with him and draw from his experience and wisdom which he displayed during his term as Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum among others.
