Senate to Support Korea’s Bid to Host World Expo 2030

The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio has assured the Republic of Korea that Nigeria will support its bid to host the world EXPO by the year 2030.

Senator Akpabio gave the assurance when he received in the audience a special envoy from the Republic of Korea’s National Assembly in his office in Abuja.

Akpabio also assured the delegation that the 10th Senate is committed to building a solid bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Korea.

Hon. SUH Byung Soo, earlier said the Korean government plans to host a summit between Africa and Korea to lay a foundation for a win-win situation for both parties.

The purpose of the visit is to solicit Nigeria’s support for its bid to host the world expo in 2030.

The Three countries that will be considered for the election in November 2023 include the Republic of Korea, Italy, and Saudi Arabia.
