French Forward, Kylian Mbappe, made an impressive debut for Real Madrid, scoring a decisive goal in their two-nil victory over Atalanta to secure a record sixth UEFA Super Cup in Warsaw, Poland.
Federico Valverde opened the scoring in the 59th minute for Real Madrid, converting a pass from Vinicius Junior.
Mbappe then doubled Real Madrid’s lead in the 68th minute, expertly finishing a pass from Jude Bellingham with a strike into the top corner.
This victory allowed Real Madrid’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, to add his 14th trophy to his collection across two tenures with the club.
The victory also elevated Real Madrid above AC Milan and Barcelona, who have each won the trophy five times.
