The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a stern warning to 2024 Direct Entry candidates relying on Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) or Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) results, urging immediate upload of their credentials to avoid disqualification.
In a public advisory, JAMB emphasized that candidates with applications marked as “awaiting results” must visit any accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) center to upload their results as soon as they are released. Failure to comply will render them ineligible for admission consideration.
“Any application marked as awaiting result which does not comply with this directive will be disqualified from admission consideration,” the board stated. It further clarified that candidates who fail to upload their results will be treated as having no verifiable credentials.
Additionally, JAMB advised prospective 2025 Direct Entry applicants to act promptly by uploading their results immediately upon release to strengthen their admission prospects.
