Inter Milan has won this season’s Italian League title following a two-one victory over Arch-Rivals and nearest challengers AC Milan on Monday night.
Francesco Acerbi and Marcus Thuram scored the two goals for Inter Milan while Fikayo Tomori headed in from close range to give Milan a consolation goal.
Inter Milan’s victory places them 17 points ahead of AC Milan with five games to go.
The victory handed Inter Milan their 20th Italian crown which takes them above AC Milan’s 19 League titles and only below Juventus.
Inter players and coaches ran on to the pitch to celebrate at the final whistle at the ground both sides share, although Milan was the home side for the fixture.
