Manchester United secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League, marking a successful Old Trafford debut for new manager Ruben Amorim.
Man United wasted no time in taking the lead, with Alejandro Garnacho scoring just 48 seconds into the match, building on the momentum of their 81-second opener in Amorim’s first game at Ipswich.
Bodo/Glimt then capitalized on United’s vulnerabilities, scoring two goals in quick succession to take a 2-1 lead with just 25 minutes played.
But Rasmus Hojlund turned the tide for United, scoring twice to give Amorim his first victory as manager, much to the delight of the Portuguese coach.
