GOVERNOR ENO CALLS FOR UNITY IN DIVERSITY

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has called for unity among citizens regardless of ethnic backgrounds, emphasizing the role of harmony in national development.

Speaking at his residence in Nsit Ubium during a condolence visit from socio-cultural groups, Governor Eno reiterated the importance of fostering unity to harness the state’s potential for growth.

While expressing gratitude for the visit, he urged the groups to remain united, noting, “Unity is the key to driving any nation’s resources toward meaningful progress.”

During the visit, representatives of various socio-cultural organizations praised the late First Lady as a compassionate figure who embodied kindness and generosity. Members of the three senatorial districts also joined the visit, describing her as a pillar of support and a mother to all.

As preparations continue for the burial of the late First Lady on November 29, 2024, sympathizers and well-wishers have united in prayers for a smooth and dignified conclusion to the solemn activities.
