Five-time world champions, Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets, will depart the country tonight for China to participate in the Four-Nation China International Youth Football Tournament scheduled to hold in Yinchuan from July 5 to 11.
The team, led by Coach Uwejamomere Eboboritse and his assistants Kalli Mohammed Kachalla and Abdullahi Isa, will compete alongside hosts China, Australia and Tanzania.
All matches will be played at the Yinchuan Sports Centre Helanshan Stadium.
The tournament is expected to serve as part of the Golden Eaglets’ preparations for the 2026 WAFU B Under-17 Championship, which will also serve as the qualifying competition for next year’s Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
