Five More Players Join Super Eagles Camp in Uyo Ahead South Africa Clash

Five more players have arrived at the Super Eagles Camp in Uyo ahead of the Team’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against South Africa on Friday, 7th June.

Super Eagles Media Officer, Mr. Promise Efoghe confirmed that Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Frank Onyeka, and Paul Onuachi arrived at camp Tuesday afternoon.

Their arrival brings the total number of players in camp to 20.

The trio of midfielder Alex Iwobi, goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, and forward Ademola Lookman are expected to arrive in the country later today.

South Africa’s Bafana Bafana are expected to arrive in Nigeria on Wednesday via a chartered flight ahead of the encounter.

Friday’s game at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo will kick off by 8pm and will be live on ADBN TV.
