Fiorentina striker Moise Kean has been discharged from the hospital after undergoing tests following a collapse on the pitch during Sunday’s match against Hellas Verona.
The Italy international sustained a head injury after colliding with the knee of defender Pawel Dawidowicz during his team’s 1-0 defeat. Kean continued playing for six more minutes but lost his balance and fell to the ground in the 64th minute. He was treated on the pitch before being taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
Fiorentina confirmed that Kean was released from a hospital in Verona later that night after receiving the results of his diagnostic tests. The club’s next match is against Lecce on 28 February, but it remains unclear whether Kean will be available for the fixture.
Kean is currently Fiorentina’s top scorer this season with 15 league goals, making his potential absence a significant blow to the team.
