FCT MINISTER EMPHASIZES TAX REVENUE FOR INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN ABUJA

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, underscored the role of internally generated revenue in advancing Abuja’s infrastructure.

During an inspection of the Kuje Road project, Wike stressed the importance of tax revenue for funding critical capital projects and preventing project abandonment by aligning awarded contracts with available resources.

Addressing residents of Kuje Area Council, who expressed gratitude for the road improvements, Wike assured that initiatives to streamline ongoing infrastructure will continue, bringing governance closer to the people. Once completed, the Kuje Road is expected to significantly boost local economic growth and connectivity.
