DELTA STATE LEADS NATIONAL YOUTH GAMES MEDALS TABLE AHEAD OF CLOSING CEREMONY

Delta State is on track to retain its title as the overall winner of the National Youth Games, with the official closing ceremony of the 8th edition set to take place in Asaba later today.

As of Wednesday evening, Delta State leads the medal table with 42 gold, 14 silver, and 19 bronze medals.

Team Lagos follows in second place, having secured 16 gold, 12 silver, and 16 bronze medals. Edo State holds third place with 15 gold, 7 silver, and 17 bronze medals.

Bayelsa State, which finished fourth last year with 20 gold, 7 silver, and 16 bronze medals, currently ranks fifth behind Team Kwara, which has earned 10 gold, 7 silver, and 8 bronze.
