CAS CHARGES GRADUATING NDA CADETS TO BRACE UP FOR CURRENT SECURITY CHALLENGES

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has called on the graduating cadets of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) to rise to the high expectations of the Armed Forces by preparing to tackle Nigeria’s contemporary security challenges.

Speaking at the 2024 Beating of the Retreat and Prize-Giving Ceremony at the NDA Parade Ground in Afaka, Kaduna State, Air Marshal Abubakar emphasized the importance of courage in battle, coupled with mastery of modern warfare tools and innovations.

According to a statement by Group Captain Kabiru Ali, Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information for the Nigerian Air Force, the Chief reminded cadets from the 71 Regular Course and Direct Short Service Courses 28 (Army) and 32 (Air Force) that significant resources had been invested in their training and character development. He urged them to always prioritize the nation’s defense and give their best to safeguard Nigeria’s territorial integrity and protect its citizens.

In addition, Air Marshal Abubakar inspected ongoing infrastructure projects at the Nigerian Air Force Base Kaduna, providing strategic guidance to ensure quality and timely delivery. He also visited newly upgraded facilities at the NDA Air Force Wing, commending the enhancements designed to support the training of future officers.
