Dangote Offers ₦500,000 Reward to Expose Illegal Haulage

Dangote Industries Limited has launched a whistleblower initiative offering a ₦500,000 reward to individuals who provide credible information leading to the arrest of persons involved in illegal haulage activities using Dangote-branded trucks.

The company said the initiative is aimed at protecting the integrity of its logistics operations and curbing the unauthorised use of its trucks to transport goods outside approved company products.

Dangote explained that each category of its trucks is authorised to transport only designated products, warning that any vehicle found carrying unauthorised goods would be treated as engaging in illegal haulage.

The company stated that drivers and owners of such goods risk arrest, confiscation of the cargo and prosecution under applicable laws.

Dangote also urged members of the public to report suspicious activities by providing details such as the truck’s registration number, location, type of goods being transported and photographs where possible, assuring that all credible reports would support ongoing efforts to strengthen transparency and accountability across its nationwide logistics operations.
