COACH EGUAVOEN VOWS TO SECURE VICTORY AS SUPER EAGLES FACE RWANDA IN AFCON QUALIFIERS

Super Eagles interim coach Augustine Eguavoen has expressed confidence ahead of today’s crucial AFCON 2025 qualifier against Rwanda. Determined to secure all three points, Eguavoen emphasized the team’s focus on winning each game, aligning with the high expectations of Nigerian fans.

While respecting their opponents, Eguavoen made it clear that the Super Eagles would not be intimidated. His fourth tenure as coach began on a strong note, following the team’s dominant 3-0 win over Benin Republic’s Cheetahs in Uyo last Saturday.

Currently, at the top of the group, the Super Eagles aim to maintain their momentum in today’s Matchday 2 clash against Rwanda, which kicks off at 2 p.m. Nigerian time.
