Three-time African Shot Put Champion, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi has set his sights on the Paris 2024 Olympics podium after securing his third title at the ongoing Africa Senior Athletics Championship in Cameroon.
The 31-year-old, who had previously triumphed in the last two editions of the Championships, revealed that his primary goal now is to secure a medal for Nigeria at the Paris Games.
Enekwechi disclosed that he is always excited to represent the country whether it’s at any level.
The seasoned athlete, who recently claimed his fifth national title with a mark of 21.91meters in Benin City, is enjoying a stellar season, having surpassed his personal best and national record with a throw of 21.91meters, aiming to break the elusive 22meters mark.
