Chelsea forward Mykhailo Mudryk has been provisionally suspended by the English Football Association following an adverse result from a routine drugs test.
The Premier League club confirmed on Tuesday that the Football Association had contacted Mudryk regarding the issue.
The 23-year-old has firmly denied knowingly using any banned substances.
Mudryk, who has not featured in Chelsea’s squad for the last four matches, expressed his shock in a statement on social media, stating that he has done nothing wrong.
Mudryk joined Chelsea in January 2023 from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk in a transfer worth 89 million Pounds.
