Bruno Fernandes Sent Off Again as Wolves Beat Manchester United 2-0

Date:

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was sent off for the third time this season as Wolves continued their flawless start under new manager Vitor Pereira, securing a 2-0 victory over the Red Devils.

Fernandes was shown a second yellow card just two minutes into the second half, having already been dismissed against Tottenham and Porto earlier in the campaign.

The hosts took full advantage of their numerical superiority in the 57th minute when Matheus Cunha became the second player in three games to score directly from a corner against United.

The game was put beyond doubt in the eighth minute of added time when, as United pressed for an equaliser, Wolves countered and Cunha squared the ball for Hwang Hee-chan to score and make it 2-0.
