Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the untimely passing of Pastor Patience Umo Eno, the beloved wife of Governor Umo Eno.
Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong, in a statement today in Uyo, said Pastor Patience Eno passed on peacefully yesterday following an illness at a hospital.
The State government solicits prayers and support to the bereaved family during this difficult period stating that the family will provide further details as necessary.
According to the statement, the family requests privacy as they mourn their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
Meanwhile, the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has appreciated all those who have stood by them in this period and assured citizens that despite the huge loss, his commitment to the service of the State is unwavering.
