Victor Ubeng shared his concern on the continued decrease in the value of the naira.

Date:

As the continued decrease in the value of the naira seems not to have an end, Nigerians have bemoaned the ugly trend with some of them wondering when the naira will compete with other currencies around the world in a proportionate manner.

Baring their minds on what the situation has caused the business environment within the country, respondents highlight the significant bad consequences of running a business with a currency that does not have value at the international market.

One of them, Victor Ubeng, while speaking with our Correspondent, Prince Kingsley, explained in his perspective what the downward trend of Nigeria’s currency has meant for the business world.

For Henry Joshua, the high demand for dollars in transactions by Nigerians is a huge disappointment due to the conversion rates, which he noticed was depressing to get paid in other currencies and when converted to the Naira the value becomes almost worthless.

Not satisfied, they called on the Nigerian authorities to swing into action to save Naira from a total collapse.
