Nigeria midfielder Chioma Olise has completed a move to Turkish Women’s Super Lig side Trabzonspor from the Nigeria Women Football League champions, Edo Queens.
The Super Falcons player has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with her new team and will wear the number 16 jersey.
Olise began her top-flight career with Royal Queens, following the team’s promotion to the NWFL Premiership. Her breakthrough moment came with Edo Queens, where she played a pivotal role in securing the 2023/24 NWFL Premiership title under coach Moses Aduku.
She also contributed to Edo Queens’ triumph in the West Africa Zonal Women’s Champions League in Ivory Coast and captained the side to a fourth-place finish at the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League in Morocco.
On the international stage, Olise has represented Nigeria at two FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cups and has made two appearances for the Super Falcons.
