SSANU, NASU Calls Off Strike, Set to Resume Work Today

Date:

Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU and the Non-Academic Staff Union, NASU, have called off their seven-day warning strike.

This is according to a circular by SSANU President, Mohammed Ibrahim, directing SSANU and NASU members to resume work from today Monday, 25th March 2024.

The National Association of Academic Technologists, NAAT, also directed its members to resume duty today (Monday).

This comes as the House of Representatives Committees on Education have invited the three-university based non-teaching staff unions and the Minister of Education to a meeting scheduled for Wednesday.
