President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio has assured Nigerians that the 10th Assembly will implement policies that will promote the speedy revitalization of moribund industries across the nation.
Senator Akpabio said this in Abuja during his visit to the former Senator representing Akwa Ibom North West, Senator Chris Ekpenyong.
Senator Akpabio said he is confident that the Tinubu led administration will focus on developing earring industries to improve the nation’s economy.
Senator Chris Ekpenyong, Former Senator Representing Akwa Ibom North West said that industries like the Ajaokuta Steel Company in Kogi State, Oku Iboku Pulp and Paper mill in Akwa Ibom State as well as other non functioning industries should be developed for economic growth.
David Umahi, Senator representing Ebonyi South Senatorial District in his address said with the leadership of Senator Godswill Akpabio in the 10th Assembly, he is assured that Nigeria will be stabilized economically.
The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio appreciated Senator Chris Ekpenyong for his contribution and support during his campaign which led him to the seat of the Senate Presidency.
