Peseiro’s Future Uncertain As NFF Demands Cut On $70,000 Monthly Salary

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro may have to take a significant pay cut to remain in charge of the team.

Peseiro’s current contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will run out at the end of this month.

The former Saudi Arabia and Venezuela Saudi Arabia coach currently earns $70,000 per month.

According to ESPN, Peseiro will be asked to take a huge pay cut to remain on the job.

The Super Eagles booked their place at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after recording a 3-2 victory against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone on Sunday.

The team’s next assignment is against Sao Tome and Principe in September.
