Rivers United arrives Tanzania ahead of CAF Confederation Cup second leg Quarter Finals against Young Africans

Nigeria’s Rivers United has landed in Dar es Salam, the capital of Tanzania ahead of the second leg of Confederation of AFRICA FOOTBALL QUARTER FINAL against Young AFRICANS. 

The team departed Nigeria yesterday afternoon via Ethiopian Airline and touched down by 3:00 am with confidence of overturning the first-leg 0-2 deficit.

Two second-half goals from Fiston Mayele at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on Sunday put the Tanzanian side at an advantage going into the reverse fixtures.

The second leg game is fixed for Sunday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium with the overall winners over two legs reaching the semi-final.
