Rescue Team Recovers Additional 33 Bodies Following Building Collapse in South Africa

The number of fatalities resulting from the building collapse in George, South Africa, last week has climbed to 33, while 19 individuals remain unaccounted for.

Despite continuous rescue operations, there have been no reports of additional survivors. Identification has only been possible for six of the victims so far.

Rescue teams, employing cranes, heavy equipment, and search dogs, are concentrating their efforts on the lower levels, as well as the first and second floors of the collapsed structure.

The operation involves over 600 personnel, including reinforcements from neighboring towns. Authorities, comprising the Police and Labor Departments, are actively investigating the causes behind the incident.
