President Tinubu Reaffirms Commitment to Economic Recovery and National Development

Date:

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to Nigeria’s economic recovery and national development, assuring citizens that the country is on the right path. Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, the president welcomed a vote of confidence from the party’s leadership, describing it as a call for greater dedication to the nation’s progress.

President Tinubu expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their continued trust in the APC and acknowledged the efforts of the party’s governors and executives in driving development across the country.

APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, commended party members for their steadfastness despite challenges, emphasizing the APC’s commitment to fulfilling its electoral promises. He praised the party’s unity and resilience in supporting President Tinubu’s vision for a prosperous Nigeria.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio and House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas pledged the full support of the National Assembly for President Tinubu’s administration. They promised to prioritize the passage of bills that promote national development and economic growth, aligning with the president’s agenda.

The NEC meeting followed an APC Caucus meeting held on Tuesday night, where party leaders lauded President Tinubu’s economic policies. They highlighted a 3.84% GDP growth in the fourth quarter of 2024 and signs of declining inflation as evidence of the administration’s progress.

President Tinubu’s reaffirmation of his commitment to economic recovery and development comes amid ongoing efforts to address Nigeria’s challenges and build a stronger, more resilient economy.
