President Bola Tinubu has reiterated that individuals considering threats against the nation’s sovereignty will face consequences.
The President stated this when he met with the Pan-Yoruba Socio-Political Group, Afenifere, at the Presidential Villa Abuja led by its leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.
President Tinubu said his administration is tackling the numerous security challenges in the country, including terrorism and banditry.
He re-emphasized his government’s stance of refusing to pay ransom to kidnappers, citing the recent rescue of the Kuriga students in Kaduna state as evidence.
Furthermore, the President revealed plans to establish effective forest guards to maintain full control over the country’s forests among others.
