President Tinubu Pledges Infrastructural Transformation in Niger Delta

President Bola Tinubu has reassured Niger Delta residents of ongoing efforts to improve the region’s infrastructure and economic prospects.

President Tinubu conveyed this commitment while inaugurating the 6th Meeting of the National Council on Niger Delta in Asaba, the capital of Delta state.

Represented by the Minister of Steel Development, Mr. Abubakar Audu, President Tinubu emphasized that the council’s goals are aligned with the fundamental objectives of his administration and urged all stakeholders to collaborate in achieving the council’s objectives.

President Tinubu also highlighted the government’s comprehensive plan for developing the Niger Delta Region and all parts of Nigeria, focusing on infrastructure, education, and resource utilization across the nation.

He said the plan is exemplified by the Ministerial performance bond for Presidential priorities and deliverables for the period of 2023 – 2027.
