PRESIDENT TINUBU HONORS OGONI MARTYRS ON REMEMBRANCE DAY

In observance of Ogoni Martyrs Remembrance Day, President Bola Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering reconciliation and dialogue among Nigeria’s diverse ethnic communities.

He expressed solidarity with the Ogoni people, honoring those who lost their lives and defending their community’s interests.

Acknowledging the historical struggles that led to the loss of Ogoni leaders, including Ken Saro-Wiwa, Tinubu emphasized the administration’s dedication to addressing grievances through constructive engagement.

“As we remember the Ogoni Martyrs, let us commit to a future free of such injustices, where every Nigerian voice is respected,” he said, reinforcing the government’s aim of achieving sustainable development in the Niger Delta.
