Pastor Umo Eno Unveils 21.5-Kilometer Expansion of Oron-Airport Road

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has inaugurated the expanded 21.5-kilometer Oron-Airport Road to enhance connectivity and boost economic activity in the state.

The Governor, who named the road, Udom Emmanuel Boulevard, after his Predecessor, noted that the completion of the road project underscored his administration’s dedication to improving regional transportation and development.

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party led by the National Secretary, Senator Sam Anyanwu described Pastor Eno as one of the few governors in Nigeria who has shown capacity in the execution of people-oriented projects.

Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Prof. Eno Ibanga, and the Contractor handling the project, Engineer Uwem Okoko stated that all the materials used in the construction of the road were tested to determine the strength in line with the ethical bent of engineering and construction.

Stakeholders commended the Governor for completing projects initiated by previous administrations noting that the governor has solved the traffic congestion on the road and given aesthetics to the state capital.
